Clear terms for a small pilot
Arrivo is software the hotel uses to prepare your arrival: it coordinates the identity outcome, the registration your hotel must record, the payment your hotel charges and the update to the hotel's own property system. Your accommodation contract remains with the hotel, which stays responsible for the reservation, the room, the folio, the price and the service during your stay. Arrivo neither takes payment for the stay in its own name nor charges a platform fee: payments are made directly to the hotel through its own payment account. Availability during the pilot is best-effort—if any step cannot be completed, the property's ordinary reception process is always available and your stay is unaffected.
Assisted check-in remains equal
Guests who cannot or do not wish to use on-device biometric verification can always complete an assisted check-in at the property. Assisted arrivals receive the same room, the same price and the same service, are never shown as cryptographically verified, and are never asked for a reason. These pilot terms are a draft pending legal review and do not limit any right you have under Dutch or EU consumer or data-protection law.
